4th Feb 2012 - 26th Feb 2012, Snowdrop Valley
Snowdrop Valley at Wheddon Cross on Exmoor is open to visitors from 4th – 26th February 2012. This is a beautiful river valley which is smothered in snowdrops and not normally open to the public.
You can park your car or small motorhome and hop on the bus which will take you down to the valley a couple of miles away (the road is closed to all other vehicles over this period). You can walk either or both ways if you would prefer; good for the dog! You can couple this with lunch in the pub, the Rest and Be Thankful (could live up to its name if you have walked!) or they serve tea and refreshments in the village hall if you just want a snack.
You can see more information on the Wheddon Cross Website.
